Fundraising
The purpose of the Fundraising Committee is to generate funds at a profit that can be used by AZAEP for operating expenses and events. We would like to fund the travel and lodging for out of state speakers, be able to send an AZAEP Board member to quarterly NAEP meetings, fund a student to attend an annual NAEP conference, pay for a website, purchase awards, purchase appreciation gifts
for speakers, host an occasional holiday party, buy needed administrative
supplies, etc.
Website Production/Newsletter
The Website Production/Newsletter Committee will oversee the AZAEP website and ensure that the site is up-to-date and features items of interest to our members. As our membership grows, a newsletter will help connect members by sharing information on upcoming events and publishing articles relevant to the Environmental Professional field.
Student/Mentor Program
The Student/Mentor program will match working professionals with undergraduate and graduate students for networking, socializing, and mentoring. The Program will help foster connections that keep the “old pros” in touch with the latest research that students are conducting, and provide a venue for students to find out more about different career tracks so they can learn about what opportunities are available to them.
