In honor of its 40^th birthday, we would like to find out from environmental professionals how they perceive the efficiency and effectiveness of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) at protecting the environment. To do so, we have developed an on-line survey that we are asking all environmental professionals who have worked with NEPA to take.

The survey takes approximately 7 minutes to complete, and while we do ask questions about the respondents’ background for sorting purposes, we do not collect any information that would identify who the respondent is.

 We are using Survey Monkey to host the survey and will be collecting responses until noon February 1, 2010. We will present the findings at the NAEP Annual Conference in April 2010. Please help us identify the concerns about NEPA implementation from environmental professionals.
